ScriptureJohn 2:24–25 — Jesus understood people and did not entrust Himself indiscriminately to them.
Love is not the same as unrestricted access. Jesus served crowds, welcomed sinners, and gave Himself for the world, yet Scripture says He did not entrust Himself to everyone because He knew what was in people.
You can forgive without returning someone to the same place of trust. You can love without handing them stewardship over your identity, secrets, or future. Discernment does not make you less like Christ.
Declaration
I love with the heart of Christ and discern with His wisdom. Access to my life will be governed by truth and trustworthy fruit.
