Compliments can warm you for a moment, but they cannot uproot an identity you rehearse every day. Praise enters from outside while the old picture keeps speaking from within.
Look into the word and continue there. Let truth become practice, language, boundaries, and stewardship. Healing the picture inside requires more than people saying nice things; it requires a new agreement you repeatedly live.

I receive encouragement without depending on it for identity. God's word is becoming the enduring picture within me.
