Scripture"The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor" (Judges 6:12)
The angel found Gideon hiding in a winepress and called him a mighty man of valor. Gideon looked around as if to say, "Are you talking to me?" He could only see who he had been: the least in his father's house. Heaven saw a deliverer. For a long time, the wrong picture won.
Two pictures exist of you too: the one you carry, and the one heaven speaks. Learn to trust the second one.
Declaration
I trust heaven's report of me over my own low estimation. I am who God calls me, not who I have believed myself to be.
