Sometimes 'I need help' is completely true. Sometimes it is also hiding a quieter sentence: 'I have stopped trying because disappointment taught me not to expect movement.' Need and resignation can live in the same room.
Bring that honesty into prayer: where have I quietly given up? Not every burden is yours to carry alone, but God may be showing you one call to make, one skill to use, one application to send, or one habit to rebuild. Let His hope put strength back into your hands.
I face my need without surrendering my initiative. God's hope is strengthening me to take the next responsible step.
