After pain, isolation can dress like freedom. No one can disappoint you, correct you, or require anything from you. The quiet feels safe, but it can slowly starve healing of relationship and wisdom.
God often heals through safe, truthful people, but community does not mean giving everyone access. Return in measured ways. Independence is not freedom when it keeps your wound beyond the reach of the love and wisdom God sends through healthy relationships.
Isolation will not disguise itself as freedom. God is leading me into wise, healthy community without asking me to abandon necessary boundaries.
