ScriptureActs 4:31 — After the believers prayed, they were filled with the Spirit and spoke God's word boldly.
Real prayer does not become a waiting room where responsibility is postponed forever. The early believers prayed, were filled, and returned to the same world with greater boldness.
Stay long enough for prayer to clarify, correct, comfort, and strengthen you. Then go back to the conversation, work, boundary, service, or witness with a changed spirit. Prayer should send a stronger person back into obedience.
Declaration
Prayer is strengthening and sending me. I return to my assignment filled with the Spirit, wisdom, and courage.
