Regret speaks with great confidence because the past cannot be changed. It points to lost years and says the future must now become smaller. But regret is a witness to what happened; it is not a prophet authorised to announce what comes next.
Give God the years you cannot retrieve and the life you still possess. Restoration does not require the calendar to run backward. God can place such fruit in what remains that shame loses the final word.
Regret will not prophesy over me. I surrender the lost years and trust God with the fruitful future still before me.
