Boundaries protect what is valuable from misuse. Hiding prevents what is valuable from serving at all. Fear often confuses the two, calling concealment wisdom because being seen feels dangerous.
You can serve without giving everyone access to you. You can share a gift without surrendering your health, family, or dignity. Set wise limits, then bring the talent out of the ground. Protection should preserve purpose, not bury it.
I will not call hiding a boundary. With wisdom and healthy limits, I release what God entrusted into responsible service.
