Scripture"Therefore strengthen the hands which hang down... pursue peace with all people" (Hebrews 12:12-15)
Whose hands does Scripture tell you to strengthen? Your own. Not theirs. Taking responsibility is not the same as taking the blame. Taking blame punishes you for what someone else did, while responsibility says, "They did this to me, and now my life and my future matter more to me than what they did."
Declaration
I take responsibility for my future without taking the blame for their actions. My life matters more to me than what was done to me.
