Spiritual activity can become a hiding place when understanding is absent. It is possible to repeat the language of faith while carrying beliefs that have never been tested by Scripture.
Jesus joined knowledge of the Scriptures to knowledge of God's power. Revelation gives prayer direction, truth keeps zeal from becoming routine, and the Spirit makes truth living and actionable.
Do not merely repeat what once worked for someone else. Return to the Word. Ask the Holy Spirit to expose custom without conviction and practice without understanding. Your freedom must stand on truth, not religious motion.
I will know the Scriptures and the power of God. Empty ritual will not govern me; truth will direct my prayer and my life.
