Scripture"You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth" (Acts 1:8)

The early church was told to spread out, but it grew comfortable and settled in Jerusalem instead, content to be saved and gathered while the world ran toward eternity without God. So God allowed something the church would never have chosen for itself: persecution. The very pressure they had tried to avoid became the thing that scattered the gospel to Ephesus, Antioch, Corinth, and Rome.

Sometimes the very thing you are praying to escape is the thing God is using to enlarge you. Do not mistake comfort for the goal. It was never the goal.

Declaration

I will not mistake comfort for my calling. Whatever scatters me is only sending me further than I planned to go.
