ScriptureJames 1:22 — Do not deceive yourself by hearing the word without doing it.
You heard the truth, agreed with it, cried under it, and told someone how deeply it touched you. Yet hearing has not completed the work that only changed behaviour can do.
Do not confuse conviction with obedience. The message becomes yours when it enters the conversation, habit, decision, and repair. Ask what the word requires before the emotion fades.
Declaration
I am a doer of the word. What God shows me will become visible in my behaviour.
