An emotional breakthrough can open a moment, but truth builds a life. If the mind returns to the same lie, the old pattern will try to occupy the room again.
Jesus connected freedom with continuing in His word. Freedom grows roots when truth is learned, believed, rehearsed, and practised in ordinary choices.
Feed what God has freed. Replace the old sentence with Scripture, choose relationships that reinforce truth, and take one action that agrees with your new understanding. A freedom nourished by truth becomes a way of living.
I will continue in the word of Christ. Truth is taking root in me, and freedom is becoming my daily way of living.
