Joseph could have sat in Potiphar's house, or later in prison, nursing his case against his brothers. He would have rotted there. Instead he kept serving: interpreting dreams for the butler and the baker when he could easily have said, "The last time I shared a dream it cost me everything."
He never forgot what his brothers did. But he refused to keep living there. The devil is not impressed by your potential; he simply works to keep you marinating in bitterness, because a person marinating is a person going nowhere.
I keep moving. I will not marinate in what was done to me while my purpose waits.
