This verse has become a slogan people quote to justify waiting on money before they move. But the Hebrew word behind "answers" is anah. It means to respond, to reply when something is summoned. Money was never the source. Money is the responder.
Two men can start on the same street, both broke, both dreaming. One waits for the loan that never comes. The other applies what is already in his hand, and five years later, he has built something the other is still waiting for permission to start.
I will not wait for money to lead me. I will pursue purpose, and let money answer the call.
