When excellence confronts us, we sometimes invent an easier explanation: they had secret help, special connections, or advantages no one can see. That story may protect our comfort, but it can also keep us from studying the discipline that produced the fruit.
God can use another person's fruit to expose what your excuses have protected. Honour what is excellent enough to learn from it. Ask about preparation, repetition, correction, and time. You do not have to copy another life, but you must stop explaining away the evidence that skill can be developed.
I will not excuse excellence to protect my comfort. I am teachable, diligent, and willing to develop the skill my God-given assignment requires.
