ScriptureProverbs 13:4 — The diligent are satisfied, while mere desire leaves the sluggard empty.

Wanting something intensely can feel like work because the emotion is exhausting. You imagine the book, ministry, business, health, or healed life so often that desire begins pretending progress has been made.

Bring the desire under the Lordship of Christ. What time, practice, conversation, or completed work did it produce this week? Hunger is useful when it becomes obedience in your hands. Wanting it is not yet working for it.

Declaration

My desire will receive disciplined obedience. I give time, effort, and faithful work to the future God has placed before me.
