A new book by Apostle G. G. Church-Hill

Give Me Space!

Outgrow the Limitations You Try to Break

Some limitations must be conquered. Others survive because we keep fighting them at the level where they first found us.

What if the next answer is not another night spent attacking the limitation? What if God is calling you to grow until the wall no longer fits your life?

GIVE ME SPACE! Outgrow the Limitations You Try to Break by G. G. Church-Hill
The limit is
not your verdict

The quiet ache of being made for more

You stopped calling it a season and began to suspect it was a sentence.

You have prayed. You have fasted. You have been encouraged, counselled and perhaps even prophesied over. You have watched other people walk into the very thing you have been asking God for.

You are not faithless. That is what makes the ache so sharp. You are exhausted from believing.

But what if the thing standing between you and your future is not only the thing you have been blaming? Some walls call for truth, healing and discipline. They may also demand wisdom, responsibility and the capacity to carry the life God has placed before you.

Stop fighting the wall and start growing until the old limit can no longer govern you.

This book does not ask anyone to deny spiritual warfare. It asks them to stop using warfare as an excuse to remain the same size.

You were not made merely to escape. You were made to grow.

The book in brief

A different way to understand the wall

Many believers know the language of battle. Bind it. Rebuke it. Fast against it. Wait for a breakthrough. Yet some sincere people look up ten years later and find the same wall in the same place.

GIVE ME SPACE! begins with that uncomfortable fact. The book does not belittle prayer. It refuses to use prayer as cover for an undeveloped gift, an undisciplined hand, an unrenewed mind or an assignment repeatedly abandoned.

Through Scripture, testimony, pastoral teaching, reflection and prayer, the book keeps returning to one question: Who must I become so this wall can no longer govern me?

The chapters bring that question into ordinary life: lost time, money, other people, poor choices, damaged self-image and prayers that seem to have gone unanswered. The reader is asked to deal honestly with each one.

The specific struggles this book names

  • Feeling late, and carrying the shame of watching other people arrive first.
  • Money that never seems to grow, and the fear that this may be your measure.
  • Living by another person’s opinion, permission or approval.
  • Wanting one life while your repeated choices keep building another.
  • Seeing yourself through old wounds, betrayal, comparison or careless words.
  • Praying, fasting and fighting without finding lasting change or closure.

A limitation can be real while still being the wrong opponent. The prison may be gone, yet its measurements can remain inside the person who once lived there. Sometimes growth is not separate from deliverance. Sometimes growth is the deliverance.

The eight-part journey

What the book confronts, and what it asks of you

Each part names a limitation, examines where it took hold and ends with something the reader can do, pray through or face honestly.

Part One

The Disguise

Learn to recognise what a limitation actually is. Discern what must be confronted, healed, navigated or outgrown.

Part Two

The Limitation of Time

Face regret, comparison, delayed dreams and the fear that it is either too late or too early. Grieve what is gone, gather what remains and take the next faithful step.

The calendar can measure how long you have lived; it cannot decide whether God is finished with you.
Part Three

Financial Limitations

Examine the beliefs that have allowed money to become permission, identity or master. Then ask what purpose, skill, stewardship and faithful risk require of you now.

Part Four

The People Trap

Confront blame, bitterness, wound-identity and stagnation. Learn the difference between taking responsibility and accepting blame for another person’s wrong.

Part Five

Poor Choices

Desire is not destiny, and a resolution is not yet a decision. Close the gap between what you want and the life you are building.

Part Six

Dangerous Pictures

Identify the voices, wounds and comparisons that distorted your self-image, then reset the canvas through truth, responsibility and faithful action.

Behaviour often announces the identity the mouth is trying to hide.
Part Seven

Unhinged

Discover how old agreements, shame, fear and unbelief keep people praying outside doors Christ has already opened. Prayer matters, and so does a renewed mind.

Part Eight

Let’s Begin Again

Gather what remains. Stop living in the rear-view mirror. Let survival become fruitful service, and let the next season carry more purpose than the last carried pain.

Eight parts. Twenty chapters. One question keeps returning: will you continue to live within the old measure?

Read an excerpt

From the introduction: Rebel Against Self-Imposed Limitations

There is a kind of pain that never announces itself. It is not loud. It does not bleed. Yet it follows you into ordinary afternoons: the quiet ache of knowing you were made for more than the life you are presently living.

You feel it when someone else walks into the very thing you have prayed about for years. You feel it in the restless distance between who you are and who you sense God created you to become. After a while, you stop calling it a season and begin to suspect it is a sentence.

If that is you, hear me from the first page of this book: the thing standing between you and your destiny may not be the thing you have been blaming.

What if the breakthrough will not come merely by breaking something, but by growing in the truth until the thing that ruled you can no longer hold you?

The limit is not your verdict. Go and outgrow it.

About the author

Apostle G. G. Church-Hill

Apostle G. G. Church-Hill, born Godfred Godson Church-Hill, is a Ghanaian minister, author, podcast host and singer-songwriter. Through Throne Room Perspective and Rehoboth International, he has spent years teaching believers how to hear God’s voice, walk in covenant identity and carry what they have been given with integrity and authority.

He is the founder of TROOPS Global Network, formerly Exploits of Faith, an interdenominational ministry with over two decades of missions work and conference events across Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa and beyond. His teaching framework is Discovery, Pursuit and Recovery. It runs through his books and his platform work.

He writes for the person who has been told, in words or in silence, that their assignment is finished. He knows this subject from his own life, not only from a pulpit. In GIVE ME SPACE!, he does not offer a shortcut. He writes about a road he has had to walk himself.

He currently lives and ministers between Ghana and South Africa.
