ScriptureGenesis 4:9-17

Cain was cursed by the ground beneath his feet, not by God. And when he was driven out, he made one decision that changed everything: he did not run as far from God as his guilt told him to. He settled in the land of Nod, "on the east of Eden," the very direction from which the light would rise. A cursed, fugitive man stayed near his source, and from that nearness came a city, a family, music, and industry.

Whatever ground has cursed you, you will not out-argue it. You will out-grow it, the same way Cain did: not by how hard you fight the soil, but by how close you stay to the One who set the rules over the soil in the first place.

Declaration

I will not run from my source because of my shame. I will stay near God, and what the ground has refused me, His nearness will restore.
