You can read a calendar and still not know your next step. You can know what season it is and still not know what that season is asking of you. The sons of Issachar had both: understanding of the times, and the wisdom to act accordingly.
Your plans were real, and the disappointment you feel over the gap between your plan and your reality is real too. But "many are the plans in a person's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails" (Proverbs 19:21). Release your timeline into His hands, and watch what He builds in its place.
I release my timeline into God's hands. I trade my plan for His purpose, and I trust His purpose more.
